Grandma’s Pecan Pie

What's in it


1 unbaked pie shell
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter (not oleo)
1 cup light corn syrup
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
1 cup broken pecans

How to cook it


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In large mixer bowl, cream sugar and butter well; add salt and syrup; mix.
  • Beat in 1 egg at a time and mix well. Add nuts.
  • Pour into shell and bake for 1 hour.
