Cranberry Sauce

This sauce is quick to make and very delicious on pork, chicken and certainly turkey.

What's in it


1 bag (12 ounces) cranberries
1 cup Imperial Sugar Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
1 cup orange juice
1 cinnamon stick
1/8 teaspoon allspice

How to cook it


  • In a non reactive saucepan, bring all ingredients to a boil. Turn to simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
  • The cranberries will automatically burst open and release pectin, which will thicken the sauce automatically.
  • If desired, sauce can be left semi chunky or made smooth in a food processor or using a stick blender. The sauce will thicken as it cools. Store in refrigerator.
