10 a.m. to Noon – GPS Adventure
Navigate to the Visitor Center and discover the family friendly activity of Geocaching. Find hidden treasures using a GPS unit and become ready to embark on your own GPS adventure! Be sure to tour the newly remodeled Visitor Center; another place where Nature meets Technology!
(GPS units are supplied during program – Space is limited, please call (540) 845-6245 to pre-register.)
2 to 3 p.m. – Snakes Alive!
Slither on down to the Visitor Center for an in depth look into the fascinating lives of some local reptiles. Gain understanding as we decipher fact from fiction, you can even touch a live snake and stay for the feeding!
Both programs are free. Regular parking fees apply.
