Rain or shine. All ages. FREE
Join us for the 20th year of this family-oriented festival. Montpelier Historic Site and Montpelier Arts Center join forces to bring you a day that will delight your senses.
Browse among over 30 vendors on Montpelier’s beautiful grounds, and maybe find the perfect Mother’s Day gift! Enjoy afternoon tea in the elegant east wing.
Take in a lecture on gardening, learn about medicinal herbs, or how to make your own herbal beauty products.
Kids can play in the ‘Blast-In-The-Past’ playground–our outdoor, hands-on history playground.
Tickets for afternoon tea sampler can be purchased beginning April 1. A limited number of tickets will also be available at the festival.
The $13 Afternoon Tea Sampler includes: 2 finger sandwiches, 2 finger sweets, scone, jam and clotted cream, and a pot of tea – a choice of Montpelier blend (Earl Gray Darjeeling) loose leaf tea, or an herbal decaf.
To purchase tea tickets online, select a seating time*:
*While supplies last. A limited number of tickets will also be available at the festival.
Tea ticket sales are final, no refunds unless the event is cancelled. Please note that due to limited seating, you must arrive within 10 minutes of assigned time or ticket is voided. Allow yourself at least thirty (30) minutes to park and walk to the mansion before your assigned time.
