This regional ISEF affiliated science fair is open to all students (private, public or homeschooled) who live in or attend school in Frederick County.
NO WALK-INS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
All HS participants must complete an official ISEF packet.
MS participants with potentially hazardous projects (human subjects, vertebrates, biological agents, institution based projects, hazardous chemicals, etc.) MUST complete ISEF forms.
ISEF paperwork is due to the FCPS Secondary Science Office 191 South East St. Frederick MD 21701 by Thursday, March 12, 2015 by 4PM as well as registering on-line. Paperwork can be sent electronically or in hard copy. See below for the forms.

SET-UP: Friday (March 20) evening 5:30 to 7:30 PM – must check in project during this time to be eligible for judging on Saturday (March 21)
Your science fair project should be set up as a display. Most students use tri-fold boards that sit on a table top. The student is responsible for bringing all materials needed for display. The fair follows all ISEF display and safety regulations. No living organisms are allowed to be displayed. High School 9:00AM – 12:00PM – must be present entire time
Middle School 9:00AM – 11:00AM – must be present entire time for the following categories: Animal Sciences, Biochemistry, Biomedical & Health Sciences, Computational Biology & Bioinformatics, Earth & Environmental Sciences, Energy: Chemical & Physical, Environmental Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Robotics & Intelligent Machines
Middle School 10:00AM – 12:00PM – must be present entire time for the following categories: Behavioral & Social Sciences, Cellular & Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Embedded Systems, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science, Microbiology, Plant Sciences, Systems Software
OPEN TO PUBLIC: 3:00 – 4:00 PM
AWARDS CEREMONY: 4:00 PM
