AAA Recycling Zone | 10 am – 2 pm
Get rid of those unwanted electronics! View a list of accepted items. Provided by Versability Resources
Bring your personal documents to be shredded for free on site. Limit 3 boxes per vehicle. Staples and paper clips do not need to be removed but please no metals, three-ring binders, batteries or plastics. Provided by Shred It

Household Hazardous Waste Disposal
Don’t put that leftover paint or household cleaner in the trash! We’ll properly dispose of these items for you. No more than 5 gallons of liquids or 75 pounds of dry chemical can be accepted at this event. Waste should be in original container with labeling intact.

Prescription Drug Disposal
When is the last time you cleaned out your medicine cabinet? Don’t flush prescription drugs down the toilet or throw them in the trash as that poses potential safety and health hazards. The Virginia Beach Police Department will be accepting all pharmaceuticals (prescription and over‐the‐counter). This includes pills, liquids, capsules, inhalers, patches, etc.

Trashion Show | 1:00 pm
Students from Landstown High School Fashion Marketing program will present a unique fashion show featuring original student designs that have been constructed from 100% recycled and repurposed materials including old beach balls, newspapers, used CDs, trash bags, paper bags and more. Modeled by the students who created them, these “trashion” masterpieces were created as a mindful and relevant study of stylish sustainability.
