Olive Garden awarded Bags of Love, the first local student weekend feeding program in the Eastern Panhandle, led by One Hope Ministries International, a grant gift so that no child goes hungry in our area.
Olive Garden is sponsoring spaghetti for a fundraiser on April 13th from 5:00 to 7:30 pm to raise additional money.
These gifts have and will provide tons of pounds of food to go into our bags for students.
Packing these bags of food means dozens of volunteers gathering each month to assemble hundreds of food packets which are then taken by area churches and local residents to the schools each week no matter what the weather or personal sacrifice of time may require.
Donations of $31.00 a month, is all it requires to feed a child over the weekend for one month. One person can sponsor a child. One business or church may choose to support a school feeding 25-35 students.
For more information or to make a donation to help sponsor a local child or http://www.onehopeministriesinternational.org/ or call 304-261-4007. Together, working in unity we make a difference every weekend.
