About Bullis Summer Programs
After more than 25 years, Bullis School still offers children from throughout the metro D.C. area the greatest variety, quality and value in camp programming, all on its beautiful 102-acre campus in Potomac, MD.
“Something for Everyone” makes Bullis Summer Programs (BSP) the unique, single site for all your summer camp needs.
In an eight-week camp program, BSP serves Bullis School and the community. Bullis Summer Programs offers 80 full- and half-day, one- to two-week camps for ages 3½ – 17, averaging 519 campers per week. Additional options include Extended Day and a Lunch Program.
Our specialty camps provide campers of all ages a way to dive into specific areas of interest in one- to two-week, full-day sessions. What better way to spend the week than performing on stage, coding like a pro or even flying an airplane!
Summer 2019 introduces eight new specialty camps—check them out!
Our athletic camps offer a variety of different sports at all levels throughout the summer, for athletes already committed to their sport or others interested in exploring new activities! Our athletic camps are led by a superior group of coaches, most of whom coach at Bullis School during the school year. Our athletics program builds camper confidence, lifelong skills in the sport and teaches what it means to be a team player.
Bulldog Day Camp
For more than 20 years, Bulldog Day Camp has provided exciting, summer experiences for campers through a wonderful variety of daily activities. This popular program offers campers a nurturing and stimulating environment where they run, play, paint, swim, dance, laugh, and make lifelong friends. Activities include age-appropriate sports and recreation, arts and crafts, all-camp relay games, and field trips off campus.
Each week, campers enjoy a field trip to sites such as the National Zoo, the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, and Sharp’s Farm. Three times a week, campers go to the pool, which features options for both beginners and more experienced swimmers. Campers are closely supervised at the pool, on field trips, and throughout the camp day by a team of outstanding counselors with a low staff-to-camper ratio.
Campers may enroll for as many one-week sessions as they wish, and each week features a different field trip. Campers have so much fun that many return to Bulldog week after week, year after year!
Bulldog Day Camp Jr.
Bulldog Day Camp Jr. allows campers ages 3½ to 5 to take part in the Bulldog experience! A fun and engaging camp, Bulldog Day Camp Jr. offers a nurturing and educational adventure for the youngest campers. This camp blends age-appropriate Bulldog activities such as Tie-Dye Tuesday with arts and crafts, games, and more.
Bulldog Jr. introduces campers to the typical day camp environment in half- or full-day sessions while giving them time to grow into Bulldog Day Camp and its off-campus adventures. The low staff-to-camper ratio ensures that the smallest of campers get the attention and support they need to have a blast this summer!
