SEEC – Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center – Washington DC – The Smithsonian Early Explorers program builds on 25 years of experience educators have in using museums and community resources to enrich the lives of young children. Classes meet Mondays and Wednesdays in the National Museum of Natural History. Classes include a caretaker and child. Classes run from September to June.
The Adventure Park at Sandy Springs Friends School – Silver Spring, MD – this is the best climbing and zip lining adventure Maryland has to offer. Family fun for ages 5 and up. 13 separate trails ranging in varying difficulties. Coming up on September 22, it’s Glow in the Park – Flannel Fest 6pm to 11pm.
