It’s so tough being “not” crafty. I am creative – to be honest. I work in a creative field (marketing) making decisions about what “looks good” – and understanding layouts, colors, etc. That’s not what I am talking about…
What I am talking about is all the Pinterest and YouTube ideas of crafts, projects, etc. Not only do they make it look so easy – frankly, when watching, I feel like I could build a house with a glue gun and duct tape!
And my daughter and my sister – they will help. They are VERY crafty. My sister can whip up amazing stuff – literally out of discarded materials. And my daughter, well let’s just say she is so creative and artistic that she sees ideas and just must try them (at whatever peril to our bowls, spoons and cups! Many of which have disappeared without a trace!)
So we’re going to continue to give this a go (as my Aussie friends say)…and I will find some DIYs – projects and other concoctions to try. They’ll either be awesome – or an addition to #nailedit! Either way, it should be a fun ride.
