2017 Egg Hunt Festival – TownMall
Posted by Dani Gurrie in Blog Posts on Thu, Jan 19, 2017
The 1st Annual Tots2Tweens Egg Hunt is coming to TownMall on April 1st from 11am to 3pm. By bringing the event indoors we have eliminated the need to worry about the weather!
This free, family event has become a tradition for many in Frederick County as we have been doing it there for 8 years! We hope it will become a tradition for Carroll County and for you and your family.
Please find below all of the information you need to know:
The first 500 kids to stop by the Tots2Tweens booth will receive a commemorative bucket. Kids will take their buckets to the vendors designated to collect treats!
Be sure to visit our special “Egg Hunt Meadow” where kids will pick up plastic eggs and turn them in on their way out for their goody bags stuffed with sweets and treats! (For all you previous visitors to our Egg Hunts in year’s past, we will not be doing wristbands this year. You will simply line up to hunt for eggs.)
Tons of our vendors will be set up throughout the entire mall – many of them will have free activities and giveaways as well. PRO TIP: Bring a label sheet with your name, address, phone number and email address to enter all the great contests that will be on offer with the vendors!
Parents – we haven’t forgotten about you – stop by the Tots2Tweens booth to pick up your free bag filled with coupons and information from Tots2Tweens clients. Perfect for carrying all the freebies you’ll be picking up throughout the day! *Supplies are limited.
VIP Party! Just $1 per person. Enter the Exclusive Egg Hunt Festival Party Room complete with music, crafts, a temporary tattoo station, “selfie” photo booth (we’ll happily take photos on your device!) and MORE! (Cash and credit cards accepted). Once you enter the party room – everything is FREE inside. You may leave and return as all VIP guests will have a wristband!

I was really excited to take my 5 grandkids to the easter egg hunt, but when i got there it wasnt nothing like the ad said. the vip room was one table with temp, tattoo’s and table with a foam easter bunny frame, and a selfie pic monkey, the rest of the room was empty except a few blow up bunnies. I was very disappointed in the egg hunt its self, the goodie bag i could have gotten at the dollar store and saved money and got more! we had to pay for the adults & the kids for the vip room which was really a scam! the vendors was set up to get the adult info and give a piece of candy. I surely wont be attending this next year if it comes to the westminster town mall again. Extremely disappointed as was my 3 daughters that also came with me and the friends that I invited, to come along.
We are so sorry you were disappointed with our event. We try to keep things free or as affordable as possible all the while we’re trying to provide families with some fun.
The VIP option was clearly marked on what was involved and this was an extra while the rest of the event was completely free.
And yes, having vendors at these events are what keeps it free. We hope that you can use some of the info they provided to you while giving your kids free stuff as well.
Again, we appreciate all feedback and do our best to give the community a fun afternoon.
