Having my Mom and Steve up here at the house over Christmas made me realize how much I love to laugh. With them, we laugh ALL THE TIME. And I am talking about the side-splitting, stomach aching, jaw muscle sore kind of laughter. If you haven’t read about Mom & Steve yet, check out this introduction.
We laugh while watching TV. We laugh while cooking food. We laugh when we play games. (I notice that when Mom & Steve are around the kids laugh a lot too!) And sometimes, we just laugh at the things they say or the conversations they have. Here’s one that occured recently:
Mom: Do you want to watch SUV?
Steve: Not if it’s a car show.
Mom: What car show?
Steve: SUV. Wouldn’t it be a show about cars?
Mom: What are you talking about?
Mom: It;s a cop show.
Steve: About cars?
Mom: No stupid. About cops.
Steve: Do you mean SVU?
