Okay so it’s not a huge surprise that I am not as amazing as many of you in the kitchen (and this means you Miss Liza – our own (a)musing foodie!!) Yea, I am definitely not as skilled as that…but I did do some cooking with my mom this weekend and I found this chart came in handy.
1 Teaspoon = 1/3 Tablespoon, 1/6 fl. ounce
1 Tablespoon = 3 Teaspoons, 1/2 fl. ounce
1 Fluid Ounce = 2 Tablespoons, 1/8 cup
1 Cup = 8 fl. ounce, 1/2 pint, 225 ml
1 Pint = 16 fl. ounce, 2 cups, 450 ml
1 Quart = 2 pints, 4 cups
1 Gallon = 4 quarts, 8 pints
1 Ounce = 28.4 grams
1 Pound = 16 ounces, 454 grams
1 Kilogram = 2.2 lbs.
So there you have it – hopefully this helps you to become you’re own “foodie” in the kitchen. Please be sure to share your recipes with us as you go! And don’t forget to submit your reviews for the recipes you try!
