How often do we, as parents, get to dress up and go out WITH our kids? I’m not talking about all those formal, non-kid-friendly events like weddings or funerals where we’re constantly freaking out about what the kids are doing or how they’re behaving. Actually, for me, it was none. Zero. That’s why I decided that this would be one of two events that I continued…
The Kris Kringle Ball is all about the kids. They’re bringing US to the event. There will be music and dancing and Santa. Keyote from the Frederick Keys will be on hand to do the Hokey Pokey and other wild dance moves! Kim McMillion, from McMillion Photography sets up a gorgeous winter backdrop and shoots amazing family portraits…for just $10, she’ll print out copies of your photo on the spot (and she’s donating a portion of this fee to The Banner School).
Oh, yeah, did I mention that we’re doing all of this to not only have a ball (no pun intended) but to also raise money for The Banner School? That’s right – 100% of the ticket price is being given to the school (golf clap, please). This means that you can be a hero to your kids AND to your accountant…nice little tax deduction before the end of the year!
Details: December 3rd from 6-9pm at The Banner School in Frederick (1730 North Market Street, Frederick)
Tickets are just $10 – that includes light appetizers, non-alcoholic beverages and TONS of fun. (Kids 2 and under are free, but we know they have the most fun!!)
One catch: there are only 175 tickets on offer this year…don’t miss out – I’ll guarantee you that watching your kids have an amazing evening is the best gift ever!
Scratch that – the best gift ever is winning 4 tickets from us…leave a comment below why you and your family would love to start a tradition at the Kris Kringle Ball and you’ll be eligible to win!!
Winners selected randomly – winner will be notified by email by November 21st. Comment away!!
