Mom’s Lemon Squares

“Mouth-watering cookies...perfect for any special gathering.”
Ingredients
2 cups flour
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
2 sticks of butter
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
6 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
4 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Directions
- Mix first 3 ingredients in an 11 x 7 glass baking dish. Once mixed press to pan to form the crust. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
- Beat eggs, add sugar and lemon juice. Stir well. Add in flour and baking powder. Pour over baked crust and bake for 25 minutes.
- Sprinkle powdered sugar on top - cut into squares.
