Salad Dressing

This is our best guess at the amazing dressing on a Cass Street Oriental Fish Salad

Cook Time:


1/4 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. rice wine vinegar
1/3 c. mayonnaise
1 teaspoon sesame oil
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1 tablespoon peanut butter
juice from 1/4 lemon (or orange)
1/2 teaspoon grated rind (lemon or orange)
dash of prepared mustard
generous dash of cayenne pepper
dash of garlic powder
sesame seeds


  1. Combine vinegar, soy sauce and mayonnaise in container with tight fitting lid and shake vigorously until it reaches a smooth consistency. Add remaining ingredients and continue shaking until you get tired!
  2. Serve with tossed greens, bean sprouts, pea pods, cucumber, carrots, chicken or fish, etc. Good with pineapple chunks and raisins. Garnish with crispy oriental noodles and chop sticks of course!
