Apple Cinnamon Raisin French Toast

You say "when"


1 Loaf Cinnamon Raisin Bread
1 Large Apple, Peeled
6 eggs
1/2 (4oz) package Cream Cheese
1/2 Cup Ricotta Cheese
1 Cup Milk
1 Cup Heavy Cream
4 Tbs. Melted Butter
1/4 Cup Maple Syrup
1/2 Tsp. Vanilla Extract


  1. Cut the raisin bread into large cubes; dice and the peeled apples; spray a 9x13 inch Pyrex dish with non stick cooking spray; place 1/2 of the raisin bread in an even layer on the bottom of the Pyrex; cube the cream cheese and layer the cubes along with the apples on top of the bread, then top with the remaining bread
  2. In a large bowl, combine the eggs, the milk, the cream, ricotta cheese, melted butter, maple syrup and vanilla and pour over the bread, cream cheese and apples. Allow to sit in the refrigerator for at least an hour, if not 2 or 3
  3. Place in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes; top with whipped cream for that extra something
