The Chapel Hill Music Sensations Raise Holiday Spirits and Song
Chapel Hill Elementary Choir performs at the Fire Museum of Maryland, Dec. 8th at 11:30 am.
The Chapel Hill Music Sensations Choir returns for a special appearance at the Fire Museum of Maryland in Lutherville, MD, Dec. 8th, at 11:30 am. Visitors are treated to modern and traditional holiday songs sung acapella by 35 students from the Chapel Hill Elementary School in Perry Hall.
“My students love to have the opportunity to perform and represent their school,” said Choir Director Di Ciccotelli. Last year’s performance “was a wonderful opportunity for the singers and families to visit all of (Fire Museum’s) exhibits.”
Their performance is part of the larger Holiday Train Garden, which runs for Saturdays, 10 – 4 pm, in December, and after Christmas from Dec. 27th – 29st
In addition to the choir volunteering their talents, museum volunteers worked through the fall to completely rebuild the Museum’s Train Garden Display. Entering the Holiday Train Garden, visitors will see the newly donated, antique trains and a street car wind their way through Baltimore neighborhoods, the Bromo Seltzer Tower, the Baltimore Zoo, and the 1950s Gwyn Oaks Amusement Park. The new Garden features a “burning” building, complete with fire engines and hoses crisscrossing the fire ground.
