Purcellville Music & Arts Festival
The Purcellville Music and Arts Festival, celebrates Purcellville community, history and culture.
Held at Fireman’s Field located behind the Historic Bush Tabernacle, 250 South Nursery Avenue, the family friendly festival is free and open to the public and will include multiple stages, featuring a wide range of entertainment. In addition to musical entertainment, the event will offer activities, and information from community organizations.
This is a community event designed to feature a variety of music and entertainers. The main stage provides a venue for the headliner band and performances by larger bands that will be selected by the Purcellville Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. Three additional stages (Second Stage, Community Stage, and the indoor Art Hall Stage) provide performance space for multiple musical genres and many different styles of performing arts. Festival performances range in time from 30 to 60 minutes.
The Festival provides performers with an excellent venue and broad exposure. Acts that are selected for the Festival will be promoted on the web site, in social media, and in print.
In addition to musical performances, attendees will enjoy an art show sponsored by the Purcellville Art Council. The art show will showcase local and regional artists of all ages and be located inside the Bush Tabernacle where the Art Hall stage performances take place. Several local art organizations are volunteering with the Purcellville Arts Council to host this show.
Several artisan and food vendors will be onsite in addition to local organizations providing fun activities and demonstrations for all ages.
