Are you a tween, ages 10-14, with a passion for fashion and design?  Join our first ever “Project Runway” inspired challenge. Sign up in teams of two, a designer & model, and get ready for some denim demolition! A brief orientation will take place on September 14 at 2pm at the C. Burr Artz Public Library, 110 East Patrick Street, Frederick, MD 21701.

Liz Bowen, Librarian at the C. Burr Artz Public Library, explains that “at the orientation, denim material will be provided, as well as accessories, donated from Plato’s Closet. Teams will take home the materials and have fun deconstructing them, recycling used clothes into something new!”

You will have 3 weeks to complete your look. Then show off your creation on Saturday, October 5 at 2pm in our Runway Show!

Liz Bowen comments that “this is a great opportunity to express your creativity and build team working skills.”

Registration is required, as spaces are limited. To register, please go to www.fcpl.org or call the C. Burr Artz Public Library at (301) 600 – 1630.  Registration ends September 13.

If you have any questions about the program, please call Liz Bowen at the C. Burr Artz Public Library or visit www.fcpl.org.
