Ninth Annual Community Talent Show Extravaganza – Casting Open!
Auditions for the “Ninth Annual Community Talent Show Extravaganza” will be held on the following days:
Saturday, January 12, 2013: Noon – 2:00 p.m.
Monday, January 14, 2013: 6 – 9:00 p.m.
Plans are under way for yet another fabulous talent show! So if you missed out on last year’s show, your time to shine is now! Warm up those vocal chords, put on your dancin’ shoes, polish those punch lines, or do what you do best and get ready to wow the crowd! The Apollo Civic Theatre welcomes amateur talent of all ages and varieties from individual to groups to be part of our fifth annual Community Talent Show Extravaganza.
Prizes will be awarded to the top acts and the Grand Prize winner will be featured in the Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival Parade in October 2013!!
RULES: Acts should be no longer than 3 minutes in duration. As this is a family event, acts should not contain offensive language, material or content. All are welcome to audition, including singers, dancers, musical acts (individual and group), comedy acts or miscellaneous acts “Karaoke” acts are also welcome; however, please bring your musical accompaniment on compact disk. Musical groups should bring only minimal equipment to the audition to demonstrate the group’s act. Equipment needs for the actual show will be discussed with groups selected to compete.
Rehearsal Schedule: Tuesday, February 19 from 6 – 9:00 p.m.
Dress Rehearsal: Friday, February 22 from 6:30 – 10:00 p.m.
NOTE: All rehearsals are closed; only performers & tech crew are permitted
Performance date is February 23, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.
