For More Information
A beloved centerpiece of our holiday traditions is the Annual Lexington Christmas Parade. The parade begins on the corner of Houston and Main Streets at 6pm on Friday, November 30th.
See Main Street come alive with lights, music, floats, marching bands, elected officials, civic groups, beauty queens, church groups, dance groups, antique automobiles, race cars, beauty queens, performances, horses, many of our hometown businesses and lots of smiles. And, of course, all eyes are on the man of the hour….Santa Claus! Be sure and bring your camera to the parade because there will be a special appearance by Santa Clause and the Grinch, in Hopkins Green, immediately following the parade. Take your child’s picture while enjoying hot chocolate and snacking on candy canes.
