Dinosaurs are back at the Science Museum of Virginia, giving you the amazing opportunity to interact with a huge animatronic triceratops! Check out a 9-foot tall, three-horned, plant-eating dinosaur that’s 21-feet long from its horns to the tip of its tail!

After you’ve seen the triceratops, explore Be the Dinosaur as you walk in their footsteps and explore this lost world! Find out which dinosaurs live alone or in packs and how they survived in the wild. Uncover dinosaurs’ ecosystems as you discover their food sources and habitat. Roam across realistic terrain in computer simulations and uncover their behavior, including how they interact with other dinosaurs.

Jump into a safari jeep and check out an animatronic dinosaur before taking a look at scientifically accurate muscle, nervous, sensory and digestive systems. Take a look at pterosaur life reconstruction and explore some of the greatest mysteries in paleontology at the field station!
