Hard Rock is rolling out the red carpet for its youngest rock stars to show off their best impressions! To launch the Hard Rock Roxtars™ program, Hard Rock Cafe Washington, DC will host the “Does Your Child Look Like a Rock Star?” contest on Sunday, October 26, 2014. For one day, kids, in costume or not, will eat free if each is with an adult purchasing an entrée*. Guests can bring their favorite pint-sized rock star to the cafe dressed in their best costume for a chance to win a 2015 birthday party** for 12 of the rock star’s closest band members and entourage + (first place); a Hard Rock Cafe gift card (second place); or a Hard Rock Roxtars Gift Bundle filled with items from the new kids line in the Rock Shop (third place).
As the city gears up for Halloween, Hard Rock Cafe Washington, DC will be on the look-out for the city’s future rock stars that look and dress the part. The event will also feature face painting, and Hard Rock Cafe Washington, DC will welcome kids from Central Union Mission and Clean and Sober living to enjoy items off of Hard Rock Cafe’s new kids menu.
The contest celebrates the unveiling of the Hard Rock Roxtars, a band of characters serving as brand ambassadors for Hard Rock’s multifaceted brand-wide programs catering to children of all ages, presented at Hard Rock Cafes®, Hard Rock Hotels and Rock Shops® worldwide. The Hard Rock Roxtars will provide fans of Hard Rock with an authentic, irreverent experience rich in music content, allowing the brand to connect with future and veteran rockers alike.
Inspired by Hard Rock International’s paramount differentiator – music – this band of five characters and music performers, the Hard Rock Roxtars, each have distinct personalities representing the individuality and freedom of artistic expression in children. Band members include Razzi™, Sir Kingston™, Styler™, Buddy Jr™ and Skiddley™. The Hard Rock Roxtars are each unapologetically original and designed to inspire kids of all ages to rock an inimitable brand of cool, allowing their originality to shine.
“Hard Rock Cafe Washington, DC can’t wait to welcome families with their little rock stars for an opportunity to enjoy some of Hard Rock’s new menu items, face painting and more,” said A.J.
