Starting a child out right by introducing the right foods can help to make your child healthy and can protect them from diseases and obesity later in life. This seminar will discuss how to feed a child of this age appropriate foods that will help them to receive the nutrition they need to grow and develop properly. Serving sizes, nutrient needs, picky eaters, underweight or overweight children’s needs and diets, when to introduce certain foods , healthy snack ideas, and much more will be discussed. This class is intended for parents or caregivers of children ages 1-5 years who are concerned about their child’s diet, appetite, or weight . Taught by Registered Dietician, Jennifer W. Miller.
