Chestertown Harry Potter Festival
Grab your wand, hop on your broom, and come for a weekend of magic at the second annual Chestertown Harry Potter Festival on October 2-3, 2015. Explore our colonial river town and join us for spectacular activities and events, for children and adults—wizards and muggles alike.
The festival aims to celebrate the spirit and theme of Harry Potter while promoting our local community and its arts. This year’s festival will benefit the Garfield Center for the Arts and the Kent County Fund through the Mid-Shore Community Foundation.
Most activities and events will be free and open to the public. A few events are limited by space and will be ticketed. The Friday night Kick-off Party at the Garfield Center for the Arts (our “Hogwarts”) will be $5 general admission and free for children under 12. Decisions are still being made about a couple other events, but to give you an idea, last year the Pub Event and Kids’ Hogwarts Event were ticketed, and did sell out ahead of time. When there is more information about this year’s ticket prices and availability, announcements will be made via our Facebook, Twitter and email newsletter.
