Our annual festival pays tribute to the area’s rich German heritage and supports scholarships for exchange students to Hagerstown’s Sister City—Wesel, Germany. This exciting event is run by the nonprofit organization, the Augustoberfest Charitable Foundation.

Entertainment, food, a charity walk and a German car show—you won’t want to miss a thing. And don’t forget to bring the kids—there’s fun for them, too! Our popular Kinderwunderland is an expanded children’s entertainment area featuring a variety of activities and entertainment for the youngest Bavarian enthusiasts.

All of the Punch performances begin and end with merry tunes from Professor Horn’s hand-cranked, organ-grinder’s music box. Including the music, the total length of the show is 20 minutes.
