Madame Tussauds – Washington DC
I have never been to a Madame Tussauds before. But if you’re looking for a fun way to interact with history, sports and celebrities, Madame Tussauds is a great place to do it!
We took the family and a couple of friends down to Washington DC to check out the current exhibit: The President’s Gallery. What I loved about the place was that it was much more interactive than I expected. The kids could don costumes that were provided and be a part of the exhibit!
Cooper loved reading about the history and learning about some of the Presidents…and Brodie LOVED the celebrities and sitting at the White House desk. Both kids really enjoyed getting their hands in wax (this was additional to the admission price). And there was an opportunity to have a photo with the President and First Lady as well.
I mostly enjoyed “meeting” Ronald Reagan.
