12 Weeks of Summer
Do you remember when summer vacation seemed to stretch on forever? By the time the new school year rolled around you couldn’t even remember a time when it wasn’t summer vacation. These days I feel like summer goes by so quickly I might miss it if I even blink. Every summer I have so many ideas and plans for things I want to do and places I want to go. There are so many things I want my son to experience and so many memories I want to create for him. I feel like the last few summers I just let the time slip away and before I knew it, it was too late.
This summer I’ve decided to do things a little differently. I’ve been seeing Pinterest boards and Facebook posts all about summer bucket lists and they inspired me to start thinking of my own. Instead of just a general bucket list though, I’ve decided to create a weekly Summer Fun List.
Every week my Summer Fun List will include a Do-it, Make-it, Cook-it, and Read-it. It’s going to be tough to narrow it down to just 4 each week, I already have about a dozen summer recipes pinned and I haven’t even started yet! If you want to check out all the ideas and inspiration that don’t make it to my blog, feel free to check out my Summer Fun List Pinterest Board, I promise to continue adding to it all summer long.
Stay tuned for my first Summer Fun List next week. Just a few of the activities on my Summer Fun List already: make a sundial, go to a carnival, and read Charlotte’s Web.
Have a suggestion to add to my Summer Fun List? Leave me a comment. Want to join me in my adventure? Follow along and create your own memories this summer. Use my list or create your own! Post pictures on Facebook of you fulfilling your Do-it, Make-it, Cook-it, and Read-it each week and maybe you will end on this blog!
