This week’s Mom of the Week is one of our most faithful readers, Bernadette Vidal.

Name: Bernadette Vidal

Home: New Market, MD

Occupation: Stay at home mom, previously a medical assistant and part time fashion model.

Meet the Family: Married to a (retired) Navy Fire Control Chief who is currently an IT Specialist for the government. Daughter is in Kindergarten and is an avid bookworm, a creative artist, and takes dance classes (for 4 years now). One kitten named Angel who is sweet and silly.

Must see in New Market: Drive along and see the farms, visit the antique shops along Main Street, check out the old churches.

Biggest Pet Peeve: Rudeness

Most controversial thing about her:  I’m a Scorpio ;)

 Passions and Interests: Dance, music, books, art.

One major Goal you’re striving for: A house that has central A. C.

Best Advice you’ve received: Be afraid, but be brave and do it anyway.

Past times: Swimming with family and friends.
