Fitness. Exercise. Healthy living. Oh my!

Okay – so I know it – I am soooo typical. I just can’t seem to get my butt in gear – literally AND figuratively. I have been eating better. Actually, the entire family has been eating better. Ashley especially. He is on the “full-steam-ahead” plan. He’s been running most every day and he’s eating much healthier. Dropped some serious pounds in a week. I am really proud of him.

Me? Well, I have been eating better. He made some awesome chicken in a large batch and he split it out into portions which makes it so simple. I just grab one for lunch and I am good. I like that. It has to be quick. It has to be easy. Or I am in trouble!

I have cut out most all of the sodas…not easy – I don’t drink coffee – so that was definitely a vice. But I know I’ll feel better. I just can’t seem to love water. I wish I did. So I am trying to be better with that.

I just can’t seem to exercise. I really just need to get a pedometer or something like that where I can actually see the amount of movement I am doing (or probably NOT doing)…any recommendations?

We did find a neat website the other day (a recommendation from my mom)…called Lose It. You put in everything you ate, what you weigh and any exercise you’ve done and it charts everything for you…so I have just started that. Need the reminder and image of how I am doing.
